PROJECT NUMBER:<\/strong> PROGRAM:<\/strong> Erasmus +<\/p>\n PROJECT DURATION:<\/strong> 2022 – 2026<\/p>\n PARTNERS:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n PROJECT OBJECTIVES:<\/strong><\/p>\n https:\/\/secove-project.eu\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n The Erasmus+ \u201cSECOVE – Sustainable Energy Centres of Vocational Excellence<\/a>\u201d project has officially concluded its activities, culminating in a final Congress that celebrated its achievements. During the Final Congress, which was held at the University of West Attica (Greece), the Applied Research & Innovation Competition Award ceremony was set to honour the best projects from the national and transnational competition, showcasing innovative solutions developed by students.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n As the project ends, we also conclude with SECOVE\u2019s core outputs \u2013 the Innovation Hubs, National Observatories, and the SECOVE Academy \u2013 which are now showcased as permanent resources in the project\u2019s portal. Our ambition and determination drives us to provide better quality and vocational excellence in education in the field of sustainable energy across Europe.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Innovation Hubs are central to the project, designed as both physical and virtual centres where vocational education meets industry. The Hubs provide a space for collaboration among students, educators, and professionals so they can exchange knowledge and practices\u00a0about real practices and challenges in\u00a0sustainable energy. By linking VET schools directly with local companies, the\u00a0Hubs\u2019 purpose is to\u00a0ensure that\u00a0education is\u00a0aligned with\u00a0real\u00a0labour market needs, fostering innovation and skills\u00a0development beyond the project\u2019s\u00a0lifetime.\u00a0 Impact on Innovation<\/a><\/p>\n The National Observatories have proven their strategic value by driving inclusive excellence in sustainable energy VET.\u00a0The\u00a0observatories\u00a0are responsible for\u00a0monitoring\u00a0the\u00a0skills gaps, labour market trends, and policy alignment across\u00a0the partner\u00a0countries (Greece, Spain, Slovakia, Italy, Portugal).\u00a0The Observatories are responsible for promoting and\u00a0ensuring that\u00a0Vocational education and training\u00a0doesn\u2019t\u00a0only address technical\u00a0knowledge and skills,\u00a0but also promotes\u00a0social inclusion and equality.\u00a0\u00a0 Impact on Inclusion<\/a><\/p>\n One of the\u00a0project\u2019s\u00a0main\u00a0focus\u00a0is\u00a0on lifelong learning. With the\u00a0success of\u00a0the\u00a0SECOVE Student Mobilities\u00a0and the\u00a0transnational synergy opportunities,\u00a0VET learners\u00a0were able\u00a0to gain hands-on experience in different European countries, broadening their technical, professional\u00a0and cultural skills.\u00a0The Student\u00a0mobilities\u00a0were one of the\u00a0most dynamic and impactful components of the project, driving vocational excellence through cross-border collaboration. This mobile, flexible learning ecosystem\u2014supported by the portal\u2019s services\u2014effectively functions as an academy without walls, promoting innovative and quality lifelong learning pathways that lead to\u00a0recognized\u00a0qualifications.\u00a0 Impact on Education<\/a><\/p>\n The\u00a0SECOVE Portal has grown into a lively European hub where VET providers, universities, companies,\u00a0and the public can\u00a0connect, collaborate, and exchange ideas\u00a0and practices in the field of sustainable energy.\u00a0In numbers, its impact is clear\u00a0as the continuous flow of\u00a0information\u00a0about\u00a0completed\/future\u00a0events, mobilities, and\u00a0overall\u00a0resources,\u00a0made it possible for the partnership to ensure\u00a0the continuous\u00a0growth of the SECOVE community.
