PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
- GREENDALE’s overall objective is to develop and make applicable the sustainability skills of higher education students from any subject area. Specific objectives of the project are:
1. To deliver HE updated curricula that integrate sustainability skills with standard learning outcomes.
2. To implement internships that focus on developing sustainability skills of
interns in addition to specific subject matter learning objectives.
3. To build the capacity of HE teachers on how to revise and update their courses integrating sustainability skills.
4. To build the capacity of company mentors οn how to plan and organize
internships to develop sustainability skills in interns.
PROJECT OUTPUTS:
- A methodology and handbook for higher education teachers on how to revise
and update their courses to cultivate their students' sustainability skills (based on the GreenComp Framework's skills list). - A methodology and handbook for company mentors on how to plan and
organize internships to cultivate interns' sustainability skills within the workplace, regardless of their professional sector. - Organisation of targeted trainings and inhouse workshops for HE teachers and company mentors.
