PROJECT OBJECTIVE:
INVESTech aims to support the establishment and development of a transnational cooperation platform of Centers of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) across five European countries: Slovakia, Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Lithuania. The project seeks to address the evolving needs of the ICT sector by fostering collaboration among various stakeholders, enhancing skills development, promoting green transition, and ensuring social inclusion. By leveraging the Quintuple Innovation Helix (Q2IH) Framework, INVESTech will align CoVEs with regional smart specialization strategies to support sustainable development and innovation.
PROJECT OUTPUTS:
- A sustainable platform for international collaboration, creation of
synergies among stakeholders and with other CoVEs and networks. - Educational resources for VET students on Advanced ICT (Artificial
Intelligence including ethics, Big Data analytics, Blockchain,
Internet of Things, ICT for sustainability, Industry 5.0 and Quantum
Computing), aligned with industry needs. - Professional online courses for VET staff on Advanced skills.
- Micro credential validation ecosystem for the Advanced ICT courses.
- Summer school in entrepreneurship for VET students.
- Capacity building courses in entrepreneurship for VET teachers.
- Innovative labs, Hackathons, pitch events, skills day competitions for
VET students. - Handbook with green policies, capacity building programme for VET
organizations to promote green transition. - Info days for awareness and action plans at schools/educational
institutions.
